TiO2 Activation

A light source illuminates the painted surface instantaneously activating the doped TiO2 within the paint.
Step 1

Charge Electrons

During photocatalysis, TiO2 becomes positively charged, drawing electrons from air moisture. This creates hydroxyl radicals (OH), which are stronger oxidizers than chlorine and hydrogen peroxide.
Step 2

Destroy Pathogens

Hydroxyl radicals then seek out airborne and surface pathogens in their path and destroy 99.9999999% of them within 30 minutes (in vitro tests).
Step 3

Result

Air becomes purified, energized, odorless and safe to breathe. Surfaces are disinfected and contaminants and pathogens are quickly and significantly reduced.

What is AirOHTM?

AirOH™ has an advanced formula that helps people breathe easy. It’s infused with a doped titanium dioxide (TiO2), a naturally occurring mineral, that when exposed to light AirOH™ proactively disinfects indoor air and surfaces.

From open spaces to hard-to-reach places

AirOH™ activates when “Any Light” hits AirOH™ painted surfaces. UV light is not required. 

Both air and surfaces are continuously cleansed in an AirOH™ painted room.
